If you own an iPhone or an iPod touch you will not be able to take a look at a brand new mobile poker game. This new game is called Dogs Playing Poker and it is a comical and competitive game that has been released as an application from American software firm Candy Writer.
They have revealed that the Dogs Playing Poker 1.0 app has been designed for Texas hold’em novices, advanced poker players and those who love dogs. It allows players to select 20 unique opponents with some really different playing styles over five rounds. These rounds include a junkyard, dog pound, train car, den and the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant. During the game players will face 18 tough hounds while a fox and a walrus have also been included in the game features.
According to the Candy Writer company, poker novices will be able to quickly get up to speed on the ins and outs of Texas hold’em by completing the built in tutorial. This sounds great for those who might not be familiar with the game and the tutorial will allow new players to see what the game is about and give them the confidence to begin competing against other poker players.
For experience poker players it is still an excellent application and these players will be able to enjoy the diverse poker playing traits of the various characters and the hundreds of poker tells that have been bundled into the game.
The Dogs Playing Poker 1.0 app has been loaded with extra touches too and these range from the ability to pet and poker the dogs to a feature called Every Dog Has Its Day and this will track the cleverest dog in the world on any given day which sounds pretty cool.
